I don't normally watch WNBA but was interested to see how Ms. Parker did in her debut after reading a couple of articles that qouted other players as saying "it isn't college anymore, she is in the big leagues".
Evidently not, she threw down 34 points, 12 boards, and collected 8 assists. Not to bad for your debut, in fact the best debut by a WNBA player in league history was Cynthia Cooper in 1997 with 25 points. So I guess she will do just fine.
The WNBA still sucks but you may catch me watching a few LA Sparks game when nothing else is on.
